Pemeriksaan Boraks Secara Kualitatif

Boraks Secara Kualitatif

Tujuan : 
Untuk mengetahui atau menganalisa kandungan boraks dalam makanan

Metode :
Cara Asam dan Basa

Reagen : 
HCl encer 
Asam boraks
Aquadest

Cara kerja :
Uji Kertas Kunyit (Turmerik)

·    Sampel di haluskan terlebih dahulu dengan mengunakan lumpang / mortil sampai halus
·     Lalu sampel di bagi menjadi 2 bagian, letakkan masing - masing didalam beaker glass
·     Beaker glass 1 ditambahkan asam boraks dengan seujung sendok saja (sebagai kontrol positif)
·     Beaker glass 2 di tambahkan aquadest sampai sampel terendam
·     Aduk dengan menggunakan batang pengaduk sampai larut
·     Tamabahkan HCL encer secukupnya
·      Lalu celupkan kertas kurkumin / kunyit ke dalam sampel
·      Diamkan sampai terjadi perubahan warna pada kertas kurkumin
·      Baca hasilnya :
·      Jika kertas berwarna jingga kemerahan maka sampel Positif (+) mengandung boraks
·    Jika kertas berwarna kuning (tdk terjadi perubahan) maka sampel Negatif (-) tidak mengandung boraks
